Hundreds took to the streets of Springfield on Wednesday in a march to support the Second Amendment and call on the state legislature to protect gun owners’ rights. Despite a rainy morning, the skies cleared up as marchers headed to the Capitol.
The march was organized as part of the Illinois State Rifle Association’s annual “Lobby Day,” where the group invites its members to meet with their representatives and senators to talk about gun-related issues and legislation.
