Dear Patriot,

The Left-Wing Media’s predictions that Republicans will keep losing elections haven’t come true, but it’s scary how quickly things can change in Washington, D.C. and across our nation. With Pelosi’s majority in the House, a minor shift in the U.S. Senate, and Joe Biden as President of the United States, our nation can see what the country looks like when the Leftists rule.

Unfortunately for us in Illinois, we already know what one-party rule looks like, and we’re quickly getting a very clear picture of what the new, radical, far-left agenda looks like in our state. Simple government functions aren’t getting done. Hard drugs are being decriminalized, and law enforcement is under attack. Most disturbingly, there is a constant call to restrict our Second Amendment rights and limit the ability of law-abiding citizens to protect their families and property.

It’s often said our Second Amendment rights exist to protect the rest of our rights, and I couldn’t agree more. That is why I have agreed to serve as the chairman of the 2A Patriot Political Action Committee. I am asking you to join me to advocate for our Second Amendment rights, support candidates, and preserve the rights of future generations.

Anti-Second Amendment trailblazers continue announcing proposed executive orders regarding gun control, restricting gun ownership, selling new guns, and purchasing ammunition. These orders could be used to take guns from law-abiding citizens, which is also an attack on our Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights. We have to fight back at the federal level, but we also need to fight at home because our governors and many legislatures are in lockstep with the far Left’s attack on the Second Amendment. Worse yet, many more don’t think gun-limiting policies go far enough. We need to hold fast and stand our ground against their agenda. 

I am a proud husband, father, fireman, and State Senator. I have a strongly conservative legislative record while also working across the aisle with Democrats to get things done for the people of Illinois. I believe strong families are the foundational building block for a great America. I am passionate about making sure our kids get a great education. I am committed to providing excellent constituent service for the people I represent. I fully support public safety and the men and women who serve us as first responders, firefighters, and law enforcement. And, underneath it all, I believe our Constitutional rights are what created American exceptionalism. They are both the first and last line of defense as we fight to preserve our economy and our place as a beacon of freedom in the world.

Our Constitution is often complicated, but the language is pretty simple when it comes to the right to defend ourselves: “…the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…”. It doesn’t get much more plain-spoken than that, and the 2A Patriot PAC fight for our right to keep and bear arms is just as straightforward.

2A Patriot PAC can’t get it done without your help. I am working hard to raise what we need to stay on budget and fight back effectively. Our goal is to raise money to support unequivocal and unflinching candidates in their support for the Second Amendment.
